Our story begins with the birth of little Manu, who brought new light and inspiration into the life of Marcela, our founder. Marcela, a Brazilian at heart, passionate about brigadeiro and the rich Brazilian cuisine, found motherhood a transforming force and a new motivation for entrepreneurship.

Living in Norwich, the fine city, Marcela has always had a special talent for creating sweet delights. This love of Brazilian cuisine, especially brigadeiro, has accompanied her throughout her life.

With the arrival of Manu, Marcela decided it was time to turn her passion into something bigger. And so Emporium Norwich was born, a place where every bit of chocolate is made with love and dedication. We started out small, fulfilling requests from friends and neighbours, and over time we grew as our dear customers demanded.

Today, Emporium Norwich is a proud member of the Norwich community located in Hellesdon Barns, a cosy and vibrant space where we share our passion for artisan confectionery. Each product we offer is carefully prepared by hand, using high quality ingredients and following traditions that bring the authentic flavour of Brazil.
